MUSICIAN, MULTINSTRUMENTALIST (hurdy-gurdy, accordion, zither; including autoharp and piano), and SINGER (in traditional music). Passionate in hurdy-gurdy.

Graduated from Academy of Music in Poznan (music theory) in 2011. Bachelor thesis considered Vivaldi’s works transcription made by Nicolas Chedeville for hurdy-gurdy (Les Saisons Amusantes Nicoloasa Chedeville’a) and master thesis considered contemporary repertory for the hurdy-gurdy as well.

Performs contemporary music for the hurdy – gurdy (compositions with the hurdy-gurdy or white singing vocals), traditional music (french, polish, ukrainian, belarussian) and baroque.

Composes music for puppet show performances, radio shows and silent films and animations.

Since 2012 she’s in white voice technique workshops in Poland. Collaborates with archaeological, ethnographic and regional museums in Poland, both as a musician and teacher (hurdy-gurdy and white singing workshops). Repeatedely presented her work to the wide audience while both folk and classical music festivals (New Tradition „Nowa Tradycja”, „Kody”, Crossroads „Rozstaje”, Ethno Port Poznan”, „Poznańska Wiosna Muzyczna”, ThrillMe et al.), as well as live music performances. Colaborates with contemporary music composers. She took part in: 42nd edition of Poznańska Wiosna Muzyczna (Poznan Music Spring – Contemporary Music Festival – (2012) – performed Barbara Kaszuba’s piece titled „Głosy Gór” („Mountain Voices”). The same piece was later performed also in Bydgoszcz (2013), while collaborating with Pomerania Phillharmonic Orchestra. Collaborations with compositor Lidia Zielińska – „Zagubione Ogniwo” („Lost Link”) performed twice on Festival „Kody” – (Codes Festival) in Lublin (2014), and Poznańska Wiosna Muzyczna (Poznan Music Spring Contemporary Music Festival) in Poznan (2015), Szymon Godziemba-Trytek: – “Pieśni leśne “ („Forest songs”) – hurdy-gurdy and vocals (Thrill me Festival, Poznan 2016); “Etnos” – vocals (Tarnów, 2017); Piotr Klimek:
 “Kantata Wygnanych”(„Cantate of the Exiled”) – hurdy gurdy and vocals  ( Szczecin, 2017).  

Winner of numerous awards: “Artist – show yourself”  (2015 – 3rd place), “Mikołajki Folkowe Folk Music Festival” (2018 – 3rd place, solo hurdy-gurdy and singing). In 2019, she received the Young Art Medal (Poznań) and the 1rd place of Polish Radio “New Tradition” Festival (hurdy-hurdy and singing, performing with a band “Pogłosy Choir and Kakofonikt”). Holder of a scholarship of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage in Poland for 2020 year (Video-guide for hurdy-gurdy players/ Wideoporadnik Lirnika). In 2021 she received a scholarship to create her first solo album “Dziewuchy” (solo pieces for hurdy-gurdy a voice and electronics) – scholarship of the Marshal of the Greater Poland Voivodeship (album released in December 2021) and Scholarship from the ZAiKS Creative Support Fund. In 2022 she received a Poznań City Scholarship to write the first handbook for the hurdy-gurdy in Polish.

Co-founder of the Korba Foundation (Fundacja Korba), with which he carries out projects around folk music and the hurdy-gurdy. The author and administrator of lirakorbowa.pl website.
