Miguel Gistau is a guitarist from Lima, Peru where he was part of original music projects such as Le Miner Swing, Fausto Orquesta and El Trio Trementina.

His interest in the guitar embraces the classical school in which he was initially trained, the infinite wealth of Latin American music, and the world of jazz and improvisation.

He also collaborated with artists such as Rafo de la Cuba, Alejandro & María Laura, Emergency Blanket and Kanaku y el Tigre.

In 2018 he settled in Barcelona to continue his guitar studies and be part of projects such as Opalo Trio, Los Victrolas and Xiripa Combo.

Since then he has released an album as a soloist and another of original compositions with the Huaikology trio.
